秋Autumn Sake

Dear Club Members,

On World Sake Day, we change our menu for the Fall season to add our secrets for enjoying the great outdoors in the coziest way. You will find bottles that echo both New England and Japan’s Autumn flavors including sungold tomatoes, ocean spray (at the beach, not the juice), crème brûlée crust, matsutake mushrooms and chestnuts, including a chestnut houjicha tiramisu to pair with the return of Black Moheji or the rare Mantensei 1989.

It is the beginning of the brewing season and we are toasting it with a new avant-garde cloudy sake from Brooklyn that drinks like the clouds themselves. It is pillowy, lush, and unforgettable.

As always, we’d love to hear your tasting notes as you explore with us. And when the evenings turn crisp, I hope you will savor a warm glass of Tentaka Hawk of the Heavens. We discovered at the Sake Brewer BBQ in September that it tastes like buttered rum. Drink some on the patio for me before the snow arrives.

With love,
Alyssa
